Ed Asner has long-established himself as a far left wing nut, but it should be pointed out he's not alone in a protest that lays bare the rank hypocrisy of the Hollywood Left. Anytime a conservative suggests that a movie, song or any other product of the entertainment medium might have a negative impact on society, they are dismissed by Hollywood libs as neanderthals. We are repeatedly told: "they're just movies." Don't call an actor a hypocrite for depicting nauseating gun violence and then support a ban on guns; it's just a moive and movies don't count.

Ah, but when a movie depicts something they don't like, the movie should not be recognized for artistic excellence. Classic; simply classic.
