Can you say desperate?  I can't decide which is the more plausible explanation; another seller is making these or they're a liberal fake. I'm sure many conservatives will say the liberal fake option is the more likely, but I could see another seller putting these hats on the market.

If it is another seller it should be easy to track them down. As desperate as Team Obama is right now nothing, certainly not this, would surprise me. In any event, spreading this all over Facebook a week before the election is desperation defined.
