As I said on the air this morning, I'm not saying these allegations are true. However, I did send three emails to Gillian Morris, Press Secretary, Wisconsin, Obama for America, asking her to comment on this email. As I blog this, I have received no response from her. I received the email below in the early morning hours of Friday. I did speak with Ryan on the phone and I have to admit, he was a little rambling and unfocused. But he stands by the allegations below and said I could use the email with his name, so I am. The explosive allegations are bolded and italicized by  me below. Again, I sent several emails to the Obama Wisconsin campaign seeking comment on this:

Subject: Get Out The Bums

Mr. Jerry Bader,

I was fired earlier this week from the President's re-election effort in Green Bay because I spoke up on issues of honesty and integrity. This is my due diligence before I leave this state.

In the Democrats' office on Chestnut Street, it's not hard to find someone to stand up for themselves; the hard thing is to find someone who will stand for anything else.

I came to Green Bay as a GOTV Specialist, a volunteer from out of state recruited by Organizing for America-Wisconsin, and, as a volunteer, I was placed in "volunteer supporter housing." I had been told by the President's re-election team that the Green Bay/Fox River area contained the highest concentration of "persuadable voters." I don't care too much for saying something that way, and so far everyone I have met either in crowds or knocking on doors has all been perfectly capable of making important decisions on their own.

The people here in this tiny cross-section will deliver the state, and may even deliver a president. That deserves some respect. They deserve more.

The issues started last Saturday, as people lining up for tickets to see the President were cynically tricked into filling out the information on our standard GOTV volunteer half-page signup sheets. We were instructed by a paid staffer and field organizer (whose business card says "Respect. Empower. Include. Win.") to instruct everyone lining up for tickets that the Secret Service requires this information. Which of course is a lie. The Secret Service never received those sheets, they went straight inside to the phone bankers, and as of Tuesday morning, amid rounds of high-fives, those very volunteer forms had been mined twice, and with great success.

I have never seen someone so ambitious that they would ever consider undermining the President's personal security to gain private information, and then just hand it off to telemarketers. This was the brain child of 20-year-old xxxxx xxxx. Earlier in the day, I made the observation that "not everyone, mostly the elderly, can physically stand for four hours outside in near freezing temperatures," and asked, "What are their options for getting tickets to see the President?" to which he apathetically replied, "Well, if they can't stand for four hours out there, then maybe they shouldn't be going to see the President in the first place."

The problem is "Snowflake," the President's dusted-off re-election model for success. It's been openly discussed in the office how it "just isn't working here" and how "it works everywhere else but the people here are just resistant to the model." An obvious excuse for gross mismanagement that opens the door to fraud and lies.

The goal is 1,200 volunteer commitments to canvas the last four days before the campaign. There's a built-in attrition rate of around 350. This will deliver the remaining 800 plus canvassers to the doorsteps of registered Democrats who will in turn go to the polls and deliver Wisconsin to the President and other statewide contenders.

I think a smart civil rights advocate should step up and defend the rights of the unwitting public who deserve the right to see the pretense behind how their information was gathered. Seize the list and let a judge sort it out. That's the only fair way to ensure the system works for all the people all the time.

There is a lot more I could include here about the general mean-spirited bully mentality of the Brown County Democrats, but I will save it for another time. The thing that matters here is that the hard-working, perfectly down-to-earth men and women who's doors I have knocked on, and who's stories I have heard -- these things, these people compel me to do more. They should compel us all to do more. This state has had enough; you guys deserve a break.

We all remember Rambo just wanted a little breakfast. I think the people here just want a little leadership.
