Court Okays Use of Warrantless Surveillance Cameras in Wisconsin Case

This has thus far received no coverage from local media. If it stands, this ruling sets a dangerous precdent. As this piece points out, we can only imagine what the technical capabilities of law enforcement will be 20, heck, even 10 years from now. The "open fields" application to this case seems to be in error. Curtilage is the area immediately surrounding a dwelling, which appears to have been the target here. This is potentially chilling.
