As in, what is the proper pronunciation? I've always pronounced it "seek." Every online guide I found said "seek." Many media outlets have been saying "sick." Well, our newsroom checked this afternoon:
Dear Mr. Flynt,
Thank you for inquiring about the correct pronunciation of the word, 'Sikh'.
Sikh is pronounced as 'Sick' and Sikhs are pronounced as 'Six'.
I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there any further questions.
Sincerely,
Kavneet Singh
