Republicans this week were shell-shocked by their inability to pick up the late Jack Murtha's House seat in Pennsylvania. Suddenly, they weren't so sure of a big November and Democrats weren't so sure of an Autumn Apocalypse. While my view this week was the loss could be instructive for Republicans, Frank Rich of the New York Times warns Democrats not to be too giddy about the Penn. vcitory.
Rich is more concerned with Rand Paul's primary win. And he's asking the same thing Republicans are; can Paul win in the fall?
