MSNBC called this "breaking news" last night and on Olberman's show had Countdown item number 5 "talking without torture." If we're getting vital intel out of Abdulmutallab, that's a good thing. Frankly, I'm suspicious that we are. This reported "info-gusher" seems well timed for an administration that's getting battered for missing a golden intel opportunity in moving Abdulmutallab to the criminal justice system and allowing him to be mirandized.
Further, even if he is talking now, how much fresher would the intel have been six weeks ago?
