I know this is late but....

But I urge you to check out American Folklore Theatre's production of "Guys and Does." There are two shows today, 4 pm and 7:30 pm at the Robert Brault Playhouse, 122 North Chestnut, downtown Green Bay. My wife and I were guests of AFT at last night's production. It is HYSTERICAL and has more than 20 musical numbers. The three man cast does a simply remarkable job, and the creative on the fly set change is unique.

It's also noteworthy how we're able to laugh at ourselves; this play contains virtually every Wisconsin cliche' and stereotype you can think of (some cliche's and stereotypes happen to be real) and the crowd understood it was all a playful poke at ourselves. My wife's opinion is a couple of scenes are not appropriate for younger children, but she and I felt it was more fun than any show we'd seen in a long, long time. It's 2:55 pm Saturday as I post this. If you can't make the 4pm show, and you have nothing else going tonight, I strongly suggest you try to make the 7:30 show. I still laugh when I think of Lee Becker and Doug Mancheski doing the "mating dance." I assure you, you will too. I hope you can make it. And Doc, THANKS for having us as your guests. My wife and I truly enjoyed it!
