I'm one of those guys who checks the nutritional value on almost everything that claims to be "healthy" in the stores. I usually check calorie count, and the protien-to-carb ratio (I've always heard that a 1 gram of protien to 10 calories is good.)
Naked Juice is a product that I have bought probably 2 or 3 times since 2007. It certainly grabbed my attention at first in the stores and I tried it, despite that fact that it was high in calories/sugar.
It actually tasted pretty good, and the labels certainly make you THINK it's a "super-food" which makes it appealing...at least to a guy like me.
Here is a link to an article that I found that says a class-action lawsuit was filed and that ANYONE who has bought this product since 2007 might be able to get $45 from PepsiCo (Naked Juice's parent company.)
I'm always skeptical about things like this and since I only bought 2 or 3 of these, I don't feel like I really deserve the $45, it might be worth the effort(??)
The real lesson is, don't be duped by the FRONT of the label of some of these products that claim to be healthy, make sure you check the BACK before you decide to make the purchase!
