  • No longer a tax hell?

    Posted by Jerry Bader

Unless I'm misreading this, this change in Wisconsin's Tax Hell ranking is the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's own creation. Don't fall for this. And even IF Wisconsin's tax climate has improved, it is due to policies that were mostly undone by Democrats in the most recent budget. If you think dumping the QEO and allowing teachers to go to arbitration on contract disputes again is the sign of a state in the middle of a tax decline, you're dreaming. More on this on the show today.

  • CNN non story on climate gate

    Posted by Jerry Bader

This is what we're up against when it comes to the MSM and global warming. This CNN story attempts to downplay the hacked emails and fixates and public opinion on global warming. Public opinion shaped by the bogus science revealed in the emails.

  • Hey, what's missing here???

    Posted by Jerry Bader

As the Turkey and dressing settle into my waistline and I do some show prep, I've encountered a lot of Climate-gate coverage. And something hit me: something is missing here. What is conspicuous by its absence in this story? Can't figure it out? I'll tell you on the show tomorrow.

  • Whistling past the Graveyard

A global warming Kool-Aid drinker realizes the Climate-Gate is a crisis. I like how he calls "deniers" scumbags and "much worse" than anything in the emails, but concedes Jones should resign over the emails. This convoluted thinking is the product of someone who REALLY wants to believe what he wants to believe.

  • Thoughts on the Packers Win

    Posted by Jerry Bader

While this win was easier than I expected, don't you still get the feeling this team isn't firing on all 8, but at the same time is getting there? On the other hand the pass protection was pretty good and FAR fewer penalties. Kampman and Harris (especially Harris) will be missed much more against better teams, but I get the sense this team might be coming together at the right time.

And while I hate to be a glass half empty kind of guy, it still frustrates me that it took a humbling loss to Tampa to turn this team around. All it tells me is they played far below their ability. And how different would this season feel if they had managed to split with the Vikings and beat Tampa? Final note: with decent pass protection you're getting an idea of just how good Aaron Rodgers is. Let's hope he's not more beat up from the first half of this season than he's letting on. It looked that way late in today's game.

  • The Wilding of Sarah Palin

    Posted by Jerry Bader

Last year during the presidential campaign I called the MSM treatment of Sarah Palin rape, for which I was soundly criticized. It appears I was ahead of my time.

  • More on Climate-Gate

The scientists perpetrating the global warming fraud say the hacked emails showing their fraud are nothing more than a distraction. I also like how they call it a "smear" campaign. Being smeared with their own words? Also, they had the predictable response of issuing even more dire global warming warnings. You need to share this with a LOT of friends. This is the greatest global fraud ever exposed. The MSM won't spread the word, so you need too!
